ACE Young Learners English
We at ACE Language Centre, believe that English for Young learners should not be stressful for children. It should be fun and stimulating. Reading, writing, listening and speaking in English should come naturally. As their confidence develop, they would want to learn more and use English on a more challenging level. Children and young learners from the age of 3 to 12 can combine learning English with a wide range of activities in a safe, secure and supervised environment. Our unique programme initiates children into the complexities of English in simple steps, thereby increasing their self-confidence and enthusiasm in the language. As well as learning to speak and understand English better in a supervised, yet relaxed setting children will develop social confidence, cultural understanding and meaningful friendships.
Young Learners English (YLE) is a reliable and consistent measure of how well your child is doing in the skills of listening, speaking and reading and writing. Tests are designed to make learning fun and children are encouraged by working towards certificates and earning the ‘shields’ that record their progress. There are Five levels for children to work through,Primary Starters, Starters, Primary Movers, Movers and Flyers, with Starters being the first, aimed at young children with very basic skills.
Academic and General English
These courses are for students who want to enhance their overall ability to communicate within a variety of everyday topics.
Our courses are suitable for secondary students of any level; from those who have only basic English and want to improve, to students who are preparing for major school-based examinations. Our overall goals are to help your child:
- improve all four language skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- expand their knowledge and use of vocabulary.
- develop their knowledge and understanding of grammar.
- improve their pronunciation.
- improve their ability to learn English.
Conversational English Courses
This 20-week, part-time course is designed to help English-second-language speakers learn basic survival communication skills in English. Topics to be covered in this course include: personal introductions, family, food, giving and understanding directions, travel related scenarios and shopping.

Business English Certificate
The Business English Certificates (BEC) are internationally recognised qualifications that show employers your skills for using English in the workplace.
BEC is an ideal English language exam if you are preparing for a career in business. There are three different levels of BEC:
BEC Preliminary(Beginner), BEC Vantage(intermediate) and BEC Higher(Advanced).
Is BEC for you?
If your English language ability is sufficient for most simple communications, such as shopping, you may consider progressing towards BEC. You should have an understanding of, or interest in, the world of work, business and commerce.

More than ever, a good knowledge of English is needed to succeed in international business and commerce. If you can show you have relevant language skills, you’ll have a great advantage in the jobs market and much greater flexibility if you want to work abroad. English for Business Communication
This short course is for learners who need to improve their ability to communicate when socialising, telephoning, presenting, taking part in meetings and negotiating. The course aims to build confidence and fluency by encouraging students to analyse tasks and take part in practice activities.

Intensive English Program
The instructional program of the Intensive English Program (IEP) at ACE language Centre is designed to help non-native English speakers increase their English language skills. The curriculum is designed for students at all levels of English language proficiency, with an emphasis on developing the necessary oral and written skills for academic studies and business or professional communication.
Typical users can be expected to:
read general/academic-level materials
write general/academic papers and exams
speak more fluently in both formal and informal settings
take good, clear notes at lectures
take timed, objective tests
function knowledgeably in International culture in order to establish and maintain productive relations with fellow students, professors and other members of the host community
IELTS Preparation Workshop
The IELTS test is recognised by British, New Zealand and Australian universities for admissions. It is increasingly accepted by institutions in the United States as well.
What does the course involve?
This course focuses on a comprehensive overview of the IELTS test components and helps you develop the skills you need to obtain a creditable score on the IELTS. We offer a 30 hours workshop which will cover the following skills and strategies:
Test directions and time management for the different sections.
Test structure, type and style of questions.
Writing strategies to fulfill actual exam requirements Reading and Listening strategies for speedy comprehension.
Speaking strategies to respond appropriately in the oral interview.
Students are advised to take our Placement Test before undertaking this Workshop as this Workshop best suits students with an intermediate level of proficiency in English, or higher.
Cambridge Preschool English Course
Capitalizing on young children’s ability to learn, these exciting, stimulating courses are designed to develop communicative skills naturally and spontaneously. Language learning takes place in a fun, lively atmosphere that engages children’s minds and spirits.
During this course, your child will:
begin to develop communication skills at an age when he/she is particularly receptive and not afraid to make mistakes;
become absorbed in the new language by working and playing together with his/her classmates in the new language.
interact and establish confident communication skills at an age when he/she is particularly receptive;
learn vocabulary appropriate to his/her age group and areas of interest related to his/her daily experiences;
enjoy lots of opportunities to practice and assimilate the new language through fun-filled activities, songs, stories, language development games, etc.
Lessons also incorporate the ‘Phonics’ programme. The focus is on creating a positive and enjoyable experience, and inspiring a love of learning!
